Presentation of the Chuquicamata copper mine
This document is aimed at teachers and is intended to be incorporated into their lessons. It consists of a video and supporting commentary. They provide teachers with the opportunity to introduce the main aspects of copper production by looking at a specific case study: the Chuquicamata mine in Chile.
This activity constitutes a good introduction to a more in-depth study of different materials, whether as part of geography, physics, chemistry or geology.
